Return to Store

A Return to Store is the means by which stock, which has been previously issued, is returned to a store.  This return may be linked to a previous Material Issue if the Material Issue reference is known.

Stock Taking

The Stock Take process enables users to physically count stock and enter the quantities on to the system.  The system then compares what is actually counted against currently that recorded.

Create Demand on Store (Financials)

Stock can be requested from Stores by internal requisitioner, this can be performed either in Financials or in the Procurement Portals.

Bin Transfers

A Bin transfer represents the movements of stock within a store.  A Bin Transfer will not generate any postings to the General Ledger.

Stock Disposal

Inventory Management provides a means of disposing of stock quantity in a store where the stock is redundant, damaged or surplus to requirements.  The account that acts as default when raising a Stock Disposal is used to record such disposals.
