Reordering Columns

This feature enables you to redesign the look and feel of the list box. Simply select and drag column header to your preferred position.  When released, the columns are shuffled to accommodate the new order.

Column Locking

Select the Filter icon on the column you wish to lock.

Choose Lock Column, the column will always be displayed when scrolling to the left or the right.

Please note the column lock is not available unless there is a need to scroll horizontally. 

You will now see the bottom scroll bar has moved further to the right of columns.

To unlock the columns, select the filter icon the first column on the list screen and use the Lock Column action again.

Show/Hide Columns

When you are in a list it is possible to hide columns from your view. Select the Columns section at the end of the list screen.

Deselect and field you wish to hide from view.

You can also drag and drop columns to reorder. 

Select the Columns section again to close the window.

To unhide, repeat the steps above and flag the fields

Fit Column Width

When you select the Filter icon on the column heading the list box will be displayed, if you choose Fit Column Width then the column will be resized to fit the entered values. Clicking Fit Column Width – All Columns will do this for all the columns on the list box

Sorting

Once you have retrieved a list of some sort, for example, a list of suppliers, customers, or transactions. You have the functionality to sort the list in ascending or descending order. Select the column header filter icon and select Sort Ascending order, Sort Descending order can also be used.

Please note: You can only sort one column at a time

Fit Column Width

Any changes you have made to the view can be reset back to the shipped version of the screen by selecting the Filter icon and selecting the Reset Columns action.

Downloading Enquiry Lists

To download the detail within you list screen, start by selecting the download icon in the bottom right corner of the list.

This will display the List Download Box.

Excel/Sheets tab

Most users will want to download their list to MS Excel. As such, on the Excel/Sheets tab you can choose from the following options:

Clipboard - copy the list to the clipboard and paste it manually to the spreadsheet,

File - send it to file, which you then enter the file name

Open in Excel - this will download to the spreadsheet, but you can add in the start cell reference

Open using Excel Spreadsheet - this will download to the spreadsheet, and you can then just open the file

Word/Docs tab

If required, you can download to a Word document.

You have three options available: -

Open in Word - this will download the list into word for you

Open using word - you can then choose a file to download to, click on the browse button and choose a word document you have already created

Select a Word Document for data formatting - allows you to search for word documented on your network

Column Selection tab

In the Data Options part of the screen, you can select how to separate the data, select Comma, Tab or Character Sequence, and enter your preferred character.

Date formats can also be selected. Select the Help icon next to the field for more information.

Once all settings are complete, Select the DOWNLOAD button.

Favourite Enquiries

When using the system there will be enquiries that you access on a regular basis. For example, General Ledger Enquiries, Accounts Payable Enquiries. To make access quicker to these types of enquiries you can save them as favourites.

Once you have setup your enquiry with the details and layout you want select the More button followed by Favourite Enquiries action.

In the Search or Save new enquiry field enter a name and select the SAVE button.

As the Favourite Enquiry action is available from any of the menu screens, you can quickly access your enquiry at any time.

From the Favourite Enquiries, select the enquiry you wish to use, and the screen will then be displayed.
