User Preference Improvements

Within 'Settings' in the menu rail, there are some new modern enhancements which may be beneficial for an improved user experience.

Dark Mode:

Users can switch between light and dark themes, typical to how they’d use similar modes in their preferred browsers.

This option is available inside settings as a toggle switch.

iFrame configuration:

Users can change the URL in the iFrame so that they could set the home page as per their convenience. They also have an ability to toggle it on and off in the settings.

When toggle is enabled, iFrame is present. Also, the URL could be entered in the field under iFrame in settings menu if preference is to differentiate from the default Advanced iFrame.

This is available both on the Homescreen (MZA2), but also on the menu bar on the top left-hand side of the application when the ‘Menu’ icon is selected.

Users can search for their desired screen either by Map-ID (Screen Code) or by the Menu Name. The Map ID’s are displayed as ‘Chips’ at the top of the screen beneath the Screen Heading to allow for users to become familiar with the application. E.g. ‘MZA2’ is displayed for the homescreen below.

The Menu Search is intuitive, so as the user is typing search results will be automatically refreshed so that the list is refined based on the search criteria.

Function History

On the Homescreen (MZA2), users will also be able to view their 10 most recently used screens as default, when selecting the Search bar.

If the iFrame is enabled, then the user will be able to see 3 options but scroll through the other 10 as below. As soon as the user then enters an ID or the Menu name, the results will be over-written with their respective results in accordance to their search criteria.
