Caroline Buckland Updated by Caroline Buckland

When you're in a Data Entry screen, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or General Ledger, you'll notice a command column (cmd) available at the start of each new line. This command line allows you to perform various actions. Here are the available options:

  • Copy: To copy a line, simply type C on the command line. If you want to copy multiple lines, enter # followed by the line numbers you wish to copy. For example, if you want to copy lines 2, 4, and 5, you would enter 2,4,5.
  • Delete: To delete a line, type D on the command line. If you want to delete multiple lines, enter D followed by the line numbers you wish to delete. For example, if you want to delete lines 2, 4, and 5, you would enter D2,4,5. Press enter to execute the command.

These commands will help you efficiently manage your data entry tasks.

For additional guidance on using the command line, press F1 on your keyboard when your cursor is positioned in the command field. This will provide you with more hints and tips to help you navigate and utilise the command line effectively.
