Alerts

Alerts Panel

The alerts icon in the rail indicates that all alerts will be visible on the left draw as shown below:

When there is an alert, draw section automatically expands and displays the error. In the Alerts draw, there will be both Success Alerts (Indicated in green), Error Alerts (Red) and Advisory Warning Alerts (Amber) as per the previous UX.

Each alert would be having the respective title, information body and the view button.

Field Error Focus

Clicking on the ‘View’ button which is available for Red Error Alerts will redirect the user’s focus to the respective field which is related to that specific alert.

The view button is applicable to the generic input fields and the AG Grid, where there may be in-line alerting requiring attention and correction. Depending on where the error message is indicating, users will be taken directly to that particular issue.

The view button will not be present for information alerts displayed in green.

Quick Alert Overview

Users can see how many mandatory alerts are present in their session, even when the draw is hidden. This will be indicated through a number which is highlighted on the Rail besides the Alerts icon. In the example below this demonstrates one mandatory field which is needed to be entered, hence the number ‘1’ is present on the alerts panel.

This can be viewed either with the draw open or closed.

Upon the user actioning the alert which is appearing the error will be removed and the number will be removed.

Accept Warnings

On top of the alerts draw, there can sometimes be an option to ‘Accept Warnings’, in the form of a button, which is related to the 'Warning Alerts’.

If there are no 'Warning Alerts, then this button would be disabled. If there are any Warning Alerts, user can click on this 'Accept Warnings' button and proceed without amending anything. This applies only to Amber and Green alerts, where users have a choice to over-ride an advisory warning.

Quick Validation

Error beneath mandatory fields upon pressing enter – User would be able to identify the mandatory fields in a screen by just pressing enter. An error alert would appear on the mandatory fields along with the error message in the Alert draw pane.
